Ann Cerney is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) specializing in individual, couples and family psychotherapy and is trained as a Collaborative Practice Divorce Coach. Ann maintains offices in both Lisle and Hinsdale, Illinois. She is a fellow of the Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois at www.collablawil.org, a professional member of Collaborative Practice Professionals of Illinois (CPPIL) at www.cppillinois.com, and a volunteer member of L.E.A.V.E.S., Legal, Emotional, and Various Economic Services at
www.illinoisdivorceresources.org, a not for profit organization that provides education and support to individuals contemplating divorce.
With over 10 years experience as a masters level clinician, and a graduate of Benedictine University in Lisle, IL, Ann specializes in helping people develop and maintain satisfying relationships.
In addition, Ann has presented to general and professional audiences on topics ranging from "The Role of Coach in a Collaborative Divorce", and "Stress Management", to 'Understanding and Working with Difficult Clients" for family law attorneys. In 2010, Ann joined several other collaborative practitioners to form "TACP", Trainers for the Advancement of Collaborative Practice. TACP has developed and presented a basic training program for professionals interested in Collaborative Practice which was presented in Champaign, Illinois in April, 2011. Education
In addition to completing a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University, Ann studied and practiced abroad in Singapore in the mid-90's under the guidance and direction of Dr. Lim Yun Chin, resident psychiatrist at Raffles Counseling Center.
